TalkingTree Creative is an award-winning event and video production company headquartered in the Baltimore-Washington region, and serves an international client base. Their clients include corporations, nonprofits, associations, and government agencies such as BAE Systems, Hughes, KPMG and more.
Opportunity
The COVID-19 pandemic hit the event industry especially hard, and TalkingTree Creative was no exception. According to Forbes, over 83 million events were canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Companies had to transition from in-person events and utilize technology to bring unique virtual experiences to their customers.
With the changing workplace landscape, TalkingTree Creative saw an opportunity to pivot its marketing strategy and focus efforts on virtual event and video production services. TalkingTree has helped its clients create unforgettable virtual and streaming events, virtual studio sets, and event video.
Solution
TalkingTree Creative hired Agency 102 in the midst of the pandemic to help recalibrate its marketing strategy and focus promotions around virtual and remote services. The partnership started as a social media and content production retainer where Agency 102’s team of specialists created target social posts based on business goals and two monthly blog posts that focused on specific services/expertise and how TalkingTree Creative could assist customers.
Since then, the relationship has grown and, in addition to monthly social media management and blog writing, Agency 102 is producing monthly email newsletters to nurture the company’s list of over a thousand contacts.
Working closely with TalkingTree’s CEO Craig Weisbaum, we continue to develop content marketing strategies and campaigns to bring awareness to the company’s vast event and video production expertise. To date, we manage:
