Our Agency 102 content specialists have been working diligently for our clients on end-of-year presentations and marketing strategies for the year ahead. While it has been one of our busiest times of the year, we wanted to pause and appreciate the projects we’ve completed (or are continuing to support) from 2022.

Enjoy this project roundup with some special commentary from our team.

Social Media Management

Wines that Rock: As a premiere lifestyle wine brand, Wines that Rock is associated with some exciting consumer brands including Star Trek Wines, Hallmark Channel Wines, and NPR Wine Club. Over a year ago, we engaged with their team to support organic social media management for eight of their wine brands and we want to *cheers* to the great successes we continue to have! This holiday season, we even offered additional marketing support and pitched Star Trek Wines and Hallmark Channel Wines to appropriate websites that promote “gift guides.”

“As a wine lover myself, I’ve had a lot of fun creating content for Wines That Rock,” Lexi Jones, content marketing specialist who leads this account, says. “It’s been so rewarding to work with iconic brands like Star Trek and Hallmark Channel and getting to engage with their audiences. Some of my favorite social media posts that I’ve created to date are Star Trek Wines Instagram Reels, TCM Wine & Halloween Candy Pairings, and a Hallmark Channel Wines Christmas Instagram Reel!”

Follow their accounts on social media to keep up with our wine-ing social media strategies:

TalkingTree Creative: B2B event and video production company TalkingTree Creative has been a joy to work with for almost two years. Included in our monthly content marketing engagement is organic social media management where we create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts. As new features like Reels continue to roll out and become more prominent, our team has been able to test new content formats like video and prop up TalkingTree Creative’s expertise in the industry.

“I love working with TalkingTree Creative to showcase the magic they bring to every production,” Amber Reumont, content marketing specialist who leads this account, says. “Reels are essential to getting seen on Instagram, so we began incorporating highlight reels from events as well as insights they’ve gained through years in the business. Since shifting our focus to Reels in 2022, we’ve seen a 1,282% increase in reach and 1,518% increase in impressions.”

Visual Content

Kensington Volunteer Fire Department: As a result of a winning RFP bid in early 2022, we became KVFD’s marketing agency to help support their volunteer recruitment efforts. One of our priority recommendations before starting with any other marketing tactics was a photo and video shoot to build up our library of assets for social media and the website. With one of our photography partners Caroline Phillips, our team spent two days on-site at the station to capture content of their volunteers doing drills, responding to calls, and enjoying time with other volunteers. The photos and video turned out great and we’re including more on-site content generation days in our scope with them in the year ahead!

“Working with the team at Kensington Volunteer Fire Department has been such a rewarding experience,” Lexi says. “Every member of KVFD who I’ve met in the past year has an obvious passion for volunteering and giving back to their community, making it easy to create inspiring content for their recruitment efforts. Collaborating with them at the on-site photo and video shoot was a blast and I’m excited to be back at the station in the new year!”

20/20 Onsite: One of our longest-standing clients, 20/20 Onsite is a Boston-based mobile optometry company for which we have been providing comprehensive marketing consulting services for two years. In addition to social media and email marketing support, we also completed a series of marketing videos in Q1 2022 to help promote the Life Sciences business division and its work with clinical trials. We were very involved in the project from start to finish, from vetting local (Boston) videographers, writing the script, and even tuning in via Google Meets to provide creative direction (thanks to COVID and many canceled flights due to the weather). Now, 20/20 Onsite’s Life Sciences team has readily-available video content to share with prospects across any marketing channel.

“20/20 Onsite has a special place in my heart because they are the first client I had when starting the business,” Hannah says. “It helps that their mission is so powerful. I loved being able to tell the story of their newest business division in a video format because Jess (who is featured in the video) is so captivating when she shares the impact 20/20 Onsite has on the patient experience in clinical trials. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey in creating more accessible vision care, and we’re excited to see what 2023 has in store for our partnership!”

SEO Content

Body in Rhythm Training: A training gym located in Baltimore, Body in Rhythm Training offers more than just a typical workout experience: they also have a golf simulator! Owner Matt Swiger engaged our team this spring for help reworking his website to prop up this new offering in order to better rank for local search results. As a result of our SEO and web content work, his site has seen an increase in the number of ranking keywords (including ones around golf simulators) and more organic traffic in general.

“As a former athlete, it was exciting to immerse myself back into the world of fitness to work on this project,” Lexi reflects. “Body in Rhythm is not your average gym and I truly enjoyed working with Matt to write web content that shows off their unique offerings.”

SECU: As Maryland’s largest credit union with 25 branches throughout the state, SECU is committed to providing a safer and smarter banking experience for its members. In Q3 of 2022, its marketing team reached out to Agency 102 for help creating engaging blog content for their new News & Insights section of their website. The team’s ultimate goal was to attract younger members throughout Maryland by creating content that would rank in search while educating and informing prospects.

“I found my way to marketing through my love for writing, so working with SECU to develop search engine optimized blog content has been rewarding,” Amber shares. “Plus, since we’re focused on reaching millennials and Gen Z, I get to write about each topic with a voice and tone that comes naturally to me. Most rewarding of all are the results of our efforts. Since beginning our partnership, we’ve seen an upward trend in keywords and organic traffic.”

Content Audit

PPC Pitbulls: PPC Pitbulls is a pay-per-click advertising agency that helps authentic, high-quality brands connect with more customers and increase online revenue. Owner Andy Janaitis wanted to explore new ways to drive traffic to their website and strengthen their presence on social media, so he engaged our team to provide recommendations to elevate their strategy overall. We provided him with a comprehensive content marketing audit full of recommendations for social media and his website. Now, we enjoy partnering with him on other client projects where his paid media expertise compliments our organic content marketing specialty well!

“Content audits are a wonderful way to get a full view of what’s working for your brand and determine the best steps to move forward,” Meagan Smith, content marketing associate who tackled this project, says. “They may appear tedious to an outsider, but it’s actually one of my favorite kickoff strategies. I love the challenge of diving deeper into content paths, segments, keywords, social channels, and website content to better understand what needs to be optimized for each business and how. Working with PPC Pitbulls was a great opportunity and I look forward to working with Andy again as our partnership continues to grow.”
